Holiday Update 3 - 17th April

It's the last official day of the holidays, but following yesterday's announcement of a further 3 week of lockdown, it is looking like we won't be back at school for several more weeks. Hopefully you have all been enjoying some family time together and from Monday, we will start to work with you again to help the children with remote learning as best we all can.

We will be using a free service called SeeSaw for the teachers to communicate, send and receive activities from the children and we hope this will help to maintain some contact over the next few weeks. Attached are instructions on how you can download the app and we will send out individual login details and more instructions on Monday. If you have any difficulties, email us on support@st-patricks.southampton.sch.uk and we will try to help. Please also let us know if you will have trouble with access to IT so we can make alternative arrangements - thank you to those who already completed the form about this.

This Sunday is traditionally called Low Sunday, as the church would have very low-key services after the full-on excitement of Easter. However, the Gospel story is certainly not low-key and tells us all about Thomas, the original "doubter" who would not believe in Jesus' resurrection until he had seen and touched him. There must be many of us who are doubting all sorts of things at the moment and you might like to use the attached liturgy with your families over the weekend.

Thrive Activities

We've attached the activities for Week 5 - thanks to Mrs Mullin for these.

Activities to do at Home

This website has been created as a jumping-off point for lots of other websites and activities - it looks excellent and keeps everything in one place:

Is it getting a bit too frantic at home?

Headspace has created some resources and videos for children to help keep them calm and relaxed. You can try for free here:
