St Patrick's year 5&6 indoor athletics team finished in 2nd place at the Southampton School Games event, qualifying them for the Hampshire County Finals. This is the first time the school have gone to county finals to represent not only their school but also Southampton. Competing against the best of the best, the team gave everything they had and won some very impressive individual and team events on the day. Despite not finishing within medal positions on this occasion, the experience alone has given many of the children a desire to qualify for county finals again in the future.
